Lawyer Micah U. Buchdahl, operator of the Internet Marketing Attorney Web site, today released his 2003 Internet Marketing Attorney Awards. This is the second year in which Buchdahl has reviewed and scored the Web sites of each of the 250 largest firms in the U.S., much as Erik Heels and Rick Klau used to do through their now-defunct Red Street consulting. This year, Buchdahl has added reviews of small and mid-sized firms as well as of international firms.

Buchdahl scores each site on five factors — design, content, usability, interactivity and intangibles — awarding up to 10 points for each.

The highest-rated sites? The top three, each with scores of 45, were Faegre & Benson, Morrison & Foerster and Piper Rudnick. Among smaller firms, top score goes to Siskind Susser, as well it should, given that Greg Siskind literally wrote the book on law firm marketing
