Almost 40 years ago, attorney Roland Boyd of McKinney, Texas, wrote a letter to his son offering tips on how to be a successful lawyer. When officials of the State Bar of Texas saw the letter, they prevailed upon him to allow the Texas Bar Journal to print it. Boyd agreed and it appeared in the November 1963 issue. Now the Texas bar had made How to Succeed as a Lawyer available on the Web. Thanks to Dallas lawyer Sharon K. Campbell for pointing this out in a post to the Solosez discussion list.
