A new Web site, LAWprn.com, aims to serve as a comprehensive legal resource for physicians, attorneys and health care professionals. The site promises an array of medical-legal resources, including 200 articles exploring significant legal and regulatory issues such as Medicare payment policy, medical liability, professional ethics, and the new privacy standards. A subscription-based service, the site also includes answers to questions of the week, intriguing court cases, and weekly news articles. According to a press release, subscribers may submit personalized questions to “Ask BJ” — lawyer B.J. Anderson, — described as “one the nation’s premier health lawyers who has been answering doctors’ legal questions for nearly 40 years.” Anderson developed the American Medical Association’s Health Law Division and was a regular contributor on law and medicine for the Journal of the American Medical Association.
