California’s First District Appellate Project this week launched its first Web site. The FDAP is a non-profit, northern California law firm providing representation on appeal to indigent juvenile and adult defendants in criminal appeals, and indigent minors and parents in dependency appeals. The Web site features practical tools primarily for use by FDAP’s panel of attorneys taking court-appointed cases from the California Court of Appeal. It includes pointers to research resources, information on courts and filing requirements, forms, checklists, and information on filing claims for compensation.
