Vivisimo’s ‘secret’ FindLaw clustering page

If not for Network-Lawyers, and, more specifically, Kathy Biehl’s post thereto, I would never have known that Vivisimo provides this interface for clustering search results on FindLaw. I wrote about Vivisimo in 2002 — describing it as a software program that calls on other search engines, extracts the relevant information, and then organizes the results into a clear and hierarchical folder structure, much like the folders one would find in a Windows directory. Using the FindLaw interface, Vivísimo sends your query to FindLaw, then parses and clusters the search results, making it easier to zero in on the results that most closely match what you are looking for.
