Steven M. Cohen’s blog Library Stuff does a great job of keeping track of new RSS feeds. Thanks to Steve, I report today on two that represent the full range of possibilities for RSS.

The first is a series of RSS feeds and podcasts from the White House. Here you will find links to RSS feeds for events, speeches, statements and press briefings from the president and administration officials. In addition to the RSS feed, podcasts of the president’s weekly radio address are available in English and Spanish.

At the other end of the RSS spectrum, Pennsylvania’s Allegheny College now has an RSS feed for the daily dining hall menu on campus. Finally, a feed that has to do with food.
