Three law professors last month launched Legal Profession Blog, where they will follow topics including ethics, bar discipline, comparative professions, professional responsiblity and the interaction between legal academics and practice. The blog’s three editors are S. Alan Childress, professor at Tulane University and visiting professor this year at George Washington University, Michael S. Frisch, ethics counsel at Georgetown Law Center, and Jeffrey M. Lipshaw, visiting associate professor at Tulane. It is part of the Law Professor Blogs network.

In 2011, he was named to the inaugural Fastcase 50, honoring “the law’s smartest, most courageous innovators, techies, visionaries and leaders.” Earlier in his career, he was editor-in-chief of several legal publications, including The National Law Journal, and editorial director of ALM’s Litigation Services Division.
