Just a day after Bruce Wasserstein announced that he was putting legal journalism company ALM up for sale, his family announced that it has donated $25 million to Harvard Law School, the second largest gift in the school’s history. The money will reportedly pay for the construction of Wasserstein Hall, a new academic center on the law school’s campus. Wasserstein graduated from Harvard Law in 1971.
