A new digital-only legal magazine covering Florida lawyers and courts published its first issue yesterday. The magazine, The Florida Law Journal, says it will cover legal trends, cases and issues for legal professionals in the Sunshine State.

Notably, given the magazine’s locale, is that two of its owners are prominent California personal-injury attorneys, Thomas V. Girardi of Girardi Keese in Los Angeles and Neville L. Johnson of Johnson & Johnson in Beverly Hills. The magazine’s parent company, Florida Legal News LLC, is owned by Keese and Johnson together with  the magazine’s publisher and editor, Donna Balancia, an announcement said.

The magazine is supposed to be found at the URL www.thefloridalawjournal.com, but as of this writing, that URL is resolving to a sister site, www.centralfloridajournal.com, that is home to a separate publication from the same company.

Meanwhile, you can find the full digital edition at this link.

The magazine is published by Florida Legal News LLC. Publisher and editor is Donna Balancia, whose biography says she has been a journalist for 30 years.
