PC or Mac? It is a question lawyers have long debated and debated and debated even more. Now, a survey seeks to put some meat on the bones of the debate, aiming to determine whether there is clear evidence of trend towards Macs within the legal industry.
The survey is being conducted by Clio, the Web-based practice management software. It asks lawyers about their use or plans to use Macs and other Apple products, as well as about their preferences for mobile devices, their use of iPads, and their use of cloud-based applications.
Clio President Jack Newton will present the survey’s findings in November at MILOfest, a conference for Mac-using attorneys.
Anyone who takes the survey will be entered into a drawing to win an iPad. The survey is open until Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 5 p.m. ET.
