Join me March 2 for an ABA webinar, Are You Plugged In? The Ethical Dangers of Technology in the Law Practice.

The program will use hypotheticals to identify the benefits and dangers associated with using (or ignoring) available technology in everyday practice. Are there activities that may be putting your clients at risk? Is the use of certain platforms a violation of the Model Rules of Professional Conduct? Could the failure or refusal to use certain technologies be a violation of the lawyer’s ethical obligations?

The panel will be moderated by Mindy L. Rattan, a commercial litigator at Baker Donelson who also counsels colleagues and clients regarding legal ethics issues.

In addition to myself, the other panelists will be:

  • Katrin Miller Rothgery, assistant regulation counsel for the Colorado Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel.
  • Natalie Robinson Kelly, director of the Law Practice Management Program for the State Bar of Georgia.

The price to register for the program is $95 if you belong to a sponsoring section of the ABA (full list is on the registration page), $150 for other ABA members, and $195 for non-members.
