John L. Welch, a lawyer with Foley Hoag in Boston, has launched TTABlog, a blog focused on the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Welch sent me a note saying that a recent article I wrote about blogs for Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly provided the inspiration for him to start blogging, along with some encouragement from Marty Schwimmer.

I am happy to see another Massachusetts lawyer start a blog. While I know of several law students blogging from Massachusetts law schools, I can think of only a handful of lawyer bloggers from Massachusetts, including, of course, Erik Heels.
