In a column last year, Laughing at Lawyers and the Law, I wrote about legal humor sites. Among them was Lawpsided, where Sean Carter — a lawyer, stand-up comedian and author of the book, If It Does Not Fit, Must You Acquit? Your Humorous Guide to the Law — follows the lighter side of legal news, culling reports of outrageous crimes, offbeat lawsuits and other odd legal news.

Now Carter has another legal humor site, In Loco Veritas, where he lampoons the legal news in much the same style as the popular parody site The Onion takes on more general news. Among the features is “Pick the fake story,” in which Carter presents four tall tales from the legal news, only one of which is fake. You can register to receive In Loco Veritas each week by e-mai.
