I’ve written here and here about the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s launch last spring of live webcasts of its oral arguments. Today the court announced that, in addition to the live webcasts, it will provide permanent archives, posted to the Web within four days of the arguments.

The live broadcasts, produced in cooperation with Suffolk University Law School, resume next week when the SJC begins its new court year. Oral arguments begin at 9 a.m. on Sept. 6, 7, 8 and 9. Established in 1692, the SJC is the oldest appellate court in continuous existence in the Western Hemisphere.
