Silvia L. Coulter is at the top tier of legal marketing consultants, so I was glad to learn that yesterday she launched a blog, The Legal Compass, where she will share her thoughts and insights on “legal sales, service, strategy and success.” Silvia is managing partner of CoulterConsultingGroup and former chief marketing officer at both Dorsey & Whitney and Hale and Dorr (now WilmerHale). Among her many achievements, Silvia is author of the book, The Woman Lawyer’s Rainmaking Game, published by Thomson/West, co-founder of the Legal Sales and Service Organization, a former president of the Legal Marketing Association and editor-in-chief of the ALM newsletter Law Firm Partnership and Benefits Report.
