In a first-of-its-kind event, liberal bloggers from throughout Massachusetts will meet Dec. 10 for a forum being called BlogLeft Massachusetts. The event will be held at Tatnuck Bookseller & Cafe in Worcester from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Speakers will include pioneering political blogger Stirling Newberry of Lowell, a founder of, and Frederick Clarkson of Northampton, who, in addition to writing on his own blog,, is creating a new interactive blog called Talk to Action. Newberry will be speaking about what blogs can bring to good news analysis, and Clarkson will be speaking about the juncture of blogging and activism.
