The Boston-based law firm Bingham McCutchen today announced the creation of Bingham Sports Consulting, an offshoot created to provide management, business and legal consulting to professional sports teams. Joining the consulting practice as a principal is John L. Harrington, former CEO of the Boston Red Sox and New England Sports Network. Other members are Jack Bradley, president of Bingham Strategic Advisors; Daniel L. Goldberg, a litigator and sports lawyer who represents the Red Sox and the New England Patriots; Jonathan K. Bernstein, a commercial and finance lawyer who also represents sports clients; John J. Concannon III, a corporate lawyer with experience in sports licensing and related matters; and Lawrence I. Silverstein, a tax and real estate lawyer.
