In what is being portrayed as a story of David vs. Goliath, a young German businessman has won his trademark fight against search giant Google, prohibiting it from using the name “Gmail” in Germany. The businessman, Daniel Giersch, operates a company, G-Mail, that markets a “hybrid mail system.” Gmail is Google’s e-mail system.
