Tired of law practice? Looking for a change of career? Then here is the Web site for you: Alternative Lawyer Jobs. This new site posts job listings that offer lawyers a way out from their ruts. Listings include those posted directly by employers and others collected from elsewhere on the Web. Jobs listed here include in-house, government and non-profit counsel positions; part-time and contract work; law-related careers; non-legal careers; and opportunities to join start-ups and small businesses.

The site was started by Canadian lawyer and entrepreneur Stephen Fine, who says he often hears from colleagues “that they would love to find more fulfilling, unique careers either in or out of the legal profession, but don’t know where to find them.” It appears the site originally launched over the summer under a different name, AlternativeLawJob.com, and then relaunched recently under its current name.

The site also hosts a Career Blog.
