Why retire? So says attorney Jack Borden, who is in his law office at 6:30 every morning, doing what he loves — practicing law. This month, Borden celebrated two milestones — he had his 101st birthday and he was named America’s Outstanding Oldest Worker for 2009 by Experience Works, an organization that provides training and employment services for older workers.

Borden, who practices in Weatherford, Texas, is our special guest this week on the legal-affairs podcast Lawyer2Lawyer. He joins my cohost J. Craig Williams and me to discuss his career, his insights about the legal profession, his tips for young lawyers and his secret to longevity.

Listen to or download this week’s show at the Legal Talk Network. You can also watch a video interview with Borden recorded by Experience Works.
