Winners were announced today of the 2010 Webby Awards, honoring excellence in Web sites in more than 100 categories. In the law category, the Webby Award winner is Bitter Lawyer, the blog that aims to be “an engaging, insightful entertainment destination for lawyers.” Winner of the People’s Voice award — decided by votes from the public — is the Institute for Justice, a civil-libertarian public-interest law firm.

In 2011, he was named to the inaugural Fastcase 50, honoring “the law’s smartest, most courageous innovators, techies, visionaries and leaders.” Earlier in his career, he was editor-in-chief of several legal publications, including The National Law Journal, and editorial director of ALM’s Litigation Services Division.
