On Thursday, March 31, the Massachusetts Bar Association is presenting a special symposium for solo and small firm lawyers, Strategies for Success: 2011. I am among the line-up of presenters for this program.

The symposium will feature a unique format — a series of seven, 20-minute sessions, “Pointers by the Pros,” on various aspects of marketing and managing a law practice. My session will cover the use of social media to promote a practice.

Following that will be a session, “Perspectives on Success,” presented by two lawyers who are among the most successful in the state, Warren Fitzgerald and Denise Squillante.

Wrapping it all up will be a rapid-fire presentation of “60 Sites to Bring Your Firm Success,” presented by Alan Klevan, Rodney Dowell and me.

The program runs 2 to 6 p.m. There is a networking reception afterwards.
