UPDATE: A working version and a free trial version can now be obtained through Citepad’s own store here.

After I wrote about the Citepad keyboard on Friday, I heard from some readers that they bought and installed the app, only to find it did not work. In fact, I experienced the same problem.

When I contacted developer Emily Montgomery, her team identified a problem in the App Store version of the app. Over the weekend, they have been working to fix the issue.

“We will of course make it right with the people who have downloaded and are having issues,” she told me.

Meanwhile, she sent me a version of the app directly by email, rather than through the App Store. It worked with no problems.

I’ll provide updates as I know more.
