American Bankruptcy Institute Spring Meeting, Washington, D.C., April 19-22. On Friday, April 20, I am moderating an all-star plenary session, “Artificial Intelligence: Why It Matters to Your Future Bankruptcy Practice.” Panelists will be Owen Byrd, Lex Machina; Darby Green, Bloomberg Law; Thomas Hamilton, Ross Intelligence; Shawnna Hoffman, IBM WATSON; Michael Mills, Neota Logic; and Ed Walters, Fastcase.

National Conference on Professional Responsibility, Louisville, Ky, May 30-June 1. On Thursday, May 31, I am moderating the plenary session panel, “Ethics Issues in Lawyers’ Use of Artificial Intelligence.” Panelists will be Andrew Arruda, CEO of ROSS Intelligence; Anthony Davis, partner, Hinshaw & Culbertson; Kyle Doviken, senior director, Lex Machina; and Dennis Garcia, assistant general counsel, Microsoft Corporation.

I will also be attending the Legal Marketing Association annual conference, April 9-11 in New Orleans.
