With recreational use of marijuana legal in nine states and the District of Columbia and medical use legal in 29 states, cannabis has emerged from the counterculture to become a mainstream industry. And where there is an industry, there is the need for lawyers to serve that industry.

Cannabis law is an increasingly competitive field. To help themselves stand out from their competitors, many firms are launching blogs about cannabis law, where they track legal, compliance, finance and other issues for companies engaged in the pot industry.

I round up a number of these blogs for my column this week at Above the Law. If you’re interested, you can read it here: High Times for Cannabis Law Blogs.
