Recently, I wrote about a new report from the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission (both on this blog and on Above the Law) that recommends loosening rules on attorneys’ participation in for-profit referral services such as Avvo Legal Services.

Now, in the latest episode of our legal-affairs podcast Lawyer 2 Lawyer, I speak with the author of that report, Jerome (Jerry) Larkin, ARDC administrator.

The report is notable for going against the grain of recent ethics opinions and for taking the legal profession to task for its resistance to changes that could enhance access to justice.
