In episode #3 of my new podcast LawNext, I interview two of the founders of legal-research startup Casetext: Jake Heller, chief executive officer, and Pablo Arredondo, chief legal research officer.

Heller launched Casetext five years ago, in May 2013, and Arredondo joined him soon after. They talk about their mission to make legal research more affordable and more intuitive, the evolution of their platform, their artificial-intelligence-driven legal research assistant CARA, the state of their company today, and where they see themselves heading during their second five years.
