Follow-ups on a couple of items I previously blogged about:

MoFo2Go. In March, I wrote about law firm Morrison & Foerster’s launch of its own iPhone app, called MoFo2Go. “This app will be most useful to lawyers, clients and others who regularly do business with MoFo,” I wrote at the time. Now, the July issue of the ABA Journal reports on the app. In the first few weeks after the app’s launch, the Journal says, more than 700 people downloaded it, including firm clients and lawyers. “Clients have raved about how easy it makes communicating with the firm,” Mika Mayer, the partner who conceived it, told the magazine.

Solo Practice University. In June, I published my review of Solo Practice University, writing that I was impressed with its varied selection of courses, accomplished faculty, thoughtful design and reasonably priced subscription plans. Now, The Rinn Law Library Blog at DePaul College of Law has its own write-up, mentioning my review and recommending SPU “for any new law grads contemplating going the solo practitioner route or attorneys already working in this environment.”
