For lawyers and law students looking for useful apps for your mobile device, try Mobile Applications for Law Students and Lawyers. Part of the website of the UCLA School of Law library, the site lists a variety of apps, all selected because “they might be of interest to law students and lawyers.” The listings are compiled and maintained by reference librarian Vicki Steiner.

The site is device-agnostic, listing apps for all mobile platforms. It categorizes them under tabs for “legal research and news,” “law school and bar exam study,” “productivity” and “fun.”

This is not a comprehensive listing of law-related apps. For that, try Mobile Apps for Law, which I reviewed in March. But it is a well-chosen and diverse selection, where you can find apps for everything from legal research to wine research, which pretty much covers all the bases.
