Internet Brands, the company that acquired Avvo in January and that already owned several legal sites including Martindale-Hubbell and Lawyers.com, will announce tomorrow that it is rebranding its group of legal sites under the umbrella and Martindale-Avvo, I’ve been told by two people who work for the company.

Internet Brands is one of the world’s largest operators of websites that serve targeted vertical markets, including automotive, home and travel and health.

In legal, it acquired Avvo in January and already owned three marketing sites for lawyers — Martindale Hubbell, Total Attorneys and Ngage Live Chat — as well as three consumer-facing legal sites, Nolo, Lawyers.com and AllLaw.com.

I am told that the rebranding will be announced tomorrow. I have no other details at this point.
